OVERSEAS MISSION

Frontier pioneering missions and evangelization especially missions abroad was the natural growth process of the Founder who gave the clarion call for Missions when he said: I want Missions. The frontier missions of MSFS in 8 countries of Africa and Papua New Guinea during the last 25 years is the continuation of the legacy of missionary courage of Fr Mermier, our Founder.

As of 2019, the MSFS is spread out in five continents, 30 countries, 12 Provinces, 1 ViceProvince with a total number of 1500 of perpetually professed members. Presently the MSFS are working in the following countries: Austria, Australia, Brazil,Cameroun, Canada, Chad, Cameroon, Ecuador, England, France, Germany, India, Indonesia,Ireland, Italy, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, Netherlands, Papua New Guinea, thePhilippines, South Africa, Swaziland, Switzerland, St Lucia (West Indies), Tanzania, Trinidad –Tobago (West Indies), Uganda, the United States and Zambia.

MSFS Dibrugarh Province in Germany-Austria

MSFS Dibrugarh Provincehas its extended presence in Germany-Austria. FrCherian Marottickathadathil was appointed the Superior of the communities inGermany-Austria of the Dibrugarh Province.

USA AND OTHER COUNTRIES

There are also altogether eight confreres working and/studying in USA, England, andItaly. All of them are actively and fully engaged inpastoral work. The Bishops, fellow-priests, parishioners and collaborators really appreciatetheir work and pastoral approach.

Today, we need to accept the factthat the Pastoral Work in Europe is also a part of our Mission. Our confreres in Europe havecontributed their mite in the growth of the Province and Congregation. Through theapostolate of our confreres many people in Europe have come to know about the MSFSCongregation.
